BIOGRAPHY
AFTER THIRTY YEARS HERE, Soni Goodman knows San Francisco.
From cafes and libraries, schools and playgrounds,
microclimates, noise and safety issues, to the essentials of
how location relates to value, she gives you hard facts on
buying or selling property. She takes away the mystery and
explains our real estate market and the reams of paperwork
you'll face. As understanding builds, so does your confidence.
BORN IN PHILADELPHIA her father's career took her through
six schools and six crash courses on how to adjust and respond
to all kinds of people. Those experiences created a real estate
agent that understands human dynamics.
AFTER GRADUATION Soni completed a master's degree at Kent
State University and began work in data services, then as a
resource teacher and eventually an advertising writer.
During convalescence following an auto accident, she authored
several novels, screenplays, and articles. She established a
successful free-lance writing career and used years of physical
therapy and a team of consultants to created fitness programs
in fourteen neighborhoods. Over 10,000 San Franciscans
participated over the next decade; she appeared on local radio
and television programs and was profiled in both Fit and People
magazines. Soni sponsored fitness marathon fundraisers for the
American Heart Association that broke records for event
donations. She was honored for her coordination of hundreds of
participants, volunteers and sponsors of participants, and
with the follow-up collection of pledges from thousands of
individuals.
MS. GOODMAN STAYS CONNECTED with memberships in the
California and National Boards of Realtors as well as our San
Francisco Association and a variety of professional, athletic
and social clubs. Those resources along with continuing
education classes keep her on top of our constantly changing
market and the viewpoints of our many homeowners.
EVERYTHING YOU LEARNED IN KINDERGARDEN IS TRUE. Early years
teaching special children gave Soni the skills to negotiate with
many challenging personalities. Life experience taught her
patience and steady perseverance. Steady communication matters.
